God power or human power?

Tongue piercing? ok, is it magic, determination and strong willpower, or they receive god's help to endure the pain? Ok, last week is a holy week for almost the whole world. Many countries went through ritual ceremony.Most countries having some fun on that week, while some more religious country are also having theirown "fun". You know, ritual ceremony began since human was born. And some of it is simply unbelievable.....beating each other, piercing your own body? In ancient times, some even bite each other's flesh. That is not suppose to be it.we don't abuse ourselves. Whether those people are forced or they are willing to pierce themselves we don't know . Those who were forced were unluckily. And the others believe it must be done as a tribute to god....where is the freedom? They are controlled by their own religion. You don't get rich by piercing yourself. As long as we dont commit any sins,there will be peace, no matter what religion. It's not that we don't respect each others. Sometimes people just get too "excited" about religion,and that causes war because basically they are "controlled" by their god. And it becomes a sin.....
